I'm looking into this now elsewhere on the forums and 'net generally, but on the P38 was down to the last alloy to switch round, and the head just spins on the bolt, won't tighten, won't undo- what is the most reliable method of removal?
 
If the stud is spinning in the hub you have a lot of surgery to do. Try removing all the other nuts and applying outward pressure by pulling the wheel against the nut as you turn it. May work but don't hold your breath.
 
Had a similar problem with my friends XJR after ATS used an air gun to try and take off the security nut, many hours of fun and games.
 
drill the nut, heat (depending on how you feel about your alloys), hit and split it
