At about 1500rpm and all the way from there i get a strange vibration noise. Have narrowed it down to the transmission tunnel as it is loads louder when i unclip the gear stick gator. Its in all gears and can get it to do it in all gears and even a little bit in neutral. Its worse on drive and pretty much stops when i lift off. Do have a recording if any one has an idea what it can be but the best i can describe the sound id like the needles on a dash shaking. hope that makes sense. Any help would be brilliant
TIA

Check all U/Js and that the flange from the diff in each case is not showing any sideways or in /out movement.
When it happened to me it was a loose nut in the rear diff holding the drive pinion in.
Could also be a worn rubber donut joint, obvs.
BUT, in my D2 it turned out to be worn wheel bearings that were not evident in any other way including no "3 amigos".
Best of luck.:)

Also check your engine mountings, they have an inspection hole in the bottom of them; if the centre mounting rubber is protruding through the centre hole or there isn't a clear 10mm gap they are buggered.
