when i slow down and dip the clutch i get a strange (annoying) juddering for about 3 seconds, however this dies of sooner if i give some revs?? any ideas?? also it seems to do it less, the more fuel thats in it?? many be the tick over is low??

Could be the clutch plate sticking on the input shaft.
Pull the handbrake on, select first gear then release the clutch slowly until you get a good bite then push the clutch pedal down to disengage. Does it disengage cleanly or do weird things happen??
Is there any sign of oil leakage around the bottom of the bellhousing as oil contamination of the clutch can cause juddering and slip etc.

no. it only seems to do it when its warm!
if you drive it and then take it out of gear its fine. low tickover may be??
