Very limited info, posted on LandyWatch facebook page yesterday afternoon.

From a quick reg check, it's a White 90...

**stolen 2 hours ago*** from Sowerby Bridge Triangle area!! White long wheel base Landrover Defender 90 Registration K597FWR - This vehicle belongs to a 74 year old lady and its her only means of transport - please guys keep a look out for it and spread the word - We need to get this back!!! ***

Going solely by the content/info of the threads you've posted over the last few months, there seems to be an awful lot of Defenders getting stolen oop north.

Linky below will take you to a map showing the approx locations of thefts/attempted thefts/suspicious activity as posted on LandyWatch on a rolling 2 month basis.

Latest reported thefts and attempted thefts.

Please bear in mind though that based on some recent stats that I got from AVCIS, we're only seeing roughly 1 in 10 Defender thefts being posted on LandyWatch....

This map will never be a complete picture but hopefully it goes part of the way to indentify the latest trends

I know the police in calderdale were stopping any defender on the road after midnight. Not sure if they still are but it was the most stolen car in the division.
