Stolen over-night off my drive- near Saffron Walden, North/West Essex. LAB15

Please keep a lookout for my period drab green 1953 80" with drab canvas truck-cab fitted, no door tops and running 750's. Chassis green, S/N 36100530. Replacement (red) engine S/N 36100021. No center seat fitted but original seat backs drivers side has a hole and brown matting exposed. The canvas truck-cab fitted is unusual and not period. It has a new Clayton heater not the original Smiths. It has a wiper fitted to the drivers side only. It has a large towing type wing-mirror on the drivers side wing along with a smaller mirror on the windscreen mount again drivers side. There are no orange indicators fitted. On the front wings someone in the past (60's / 70's) painted a primrose type petal, now quite faint and opaque. In the middle center seat base, behind the gearstick is the word John. The engine is painted red.

I'd love to upload a pic but am not sure how to. I've been out on a few green lanes with Ray and down to Thurrock/Grays but never competed.

Please email me if you hear or spot anything: diagnostic@btinternet.com
Alternatively contact Essex Police - Incident number 352 Tel: 01245 502022

Please, please, please help return this cute much admired little vehicle

Lifted these (rather large) piccies off LandyWatch.

I'd get it posted on the Series 1 owners club website

I hope you get her back.

NOW FOUND - DUMPED LESS THAN HALF A MILE FROM MY HOUSE..

THANK YOU ALL...

Extra security now on order!

They obviously thought it was faulty because it wouldn't go more than 40 mph.:D

Excellent result, now learn your lesson and get that extra security installed.
