Stolen last night from Newton-Le-Willows. REG V336 NEC. Pride and joy. Gutted.

No smashed glass, probably lifted and shifted. Gutted

Anyone spots it. 07747 794738

Just had a call from my insurance company to say the landy has been taken off the police register (PNC) and this indicates it may have been found.

I've just rang the police to find that it was recovered on the 3rd november, may be damaged, may now be blue and was found on false plates. I know no more than this yet.

Good and bad news i suppose. Will post update to let you know outcome

I cant call it my big red fire truck if it's blue. Lets hope it's not too badly damaged and or i can have it back. I'm in the dark at the mo

That's good news of sorts, keep us posted. Hopefully (apart from the colour change) it'll be intact :)

Sorry for the delay in replying. Been a hectic few weeks back and fro with teh insurance/police.

so vehicle recovered now by the police. no damage bar a hand painted respray in blue. was used to rob an atm machine from a local off license. when it was stolen it was taken to a lockup in liverpool and resprayed, held for a short time then drove back to my home town for the robbery.
havent ,made arrests for the theft but have for the robbery. they are still watching the car gang and say one is from newton where i live. the police say the crims have ways of steeling the vehicles without causing damage (low loader probably)
Police also said a disco and a defender were attempted to be nicked locally yesterday (2 days before writing this)
The insurance have offered me £4200 for it, minus my 700 excess (ouch). I've asked to buy it off the salvage as its only a dodgy paint job i would have to live with. They have offered me my car + just shy of 2k for it. I think that's a good deal
It will be a CAT D but i planned to keep it for a long time anyway.
Slightly off topic i realise but any advice on that would be much appreciated
Thanks for the support eveyone
Andy

Well done, as long as you're happy with the settlement then that's good. It's nice to hear a positive outcome ;)
