- 15/16th November Overnight

- Taken from farm near Penistone

- Defender 90 Hard Top Van

- Engine TD5

- Tonga Green

- YP54EEG

- Security - Factory fitted alarm and imobiliser. Was also hitched to a large box trailer with hitch lock fitted when taken. This was removed also and the trailer was left behind. Was parked in farm yard which is covered with security lights and CCTV. Police are reviewing the videos.

- Distinguishing features - factory plastic A-frame and spot lights. Boost alloys.

- South Yorkshire police are handling this. Don't know crime number at the moment as posting on behalf of my dad who's landy it is

Im sorry to hear this

As my husband posted on the Landywatch, I was out and about last night with my work (im a domiciliary carer) and I spotted a green land rover on a trailer being towed by a newish black land rover. Its not something you see often. It was going through Holmfirth towards Huddersfield. Probably innocent and its hard to know as we are very much in Land rover country. Holmfirth is a stones throw from Penistone. The timing may be a little off, but who knows, it could have been parked up for 12 hours or so before being moved on.

Fast reports on sites like these, giving details and obvious marks or identifications may just come up trumps with results. Keep up the good work with postings etc
