taken from driveway, bolted gate. no sign of broken glass etc
grey 2011 lwb station wagon, roof rack, bull bar 2 spotlights side runners with dent on near side

Some pics would help, along with a Reg No and a list of unique features, like transfers, badges, etc.
When was she stolen? Where from?
Have the police been informed?
It's not enough to just say it's grey and it's been nicked!!

Well it's probably left the docks by now anyway.
Somebody local to me had a 2012 110 nicked last month. The insurance paid out immediately and he had another within a week.
Clearly they didn't think it would be recovered.
Makes me so, so cross. Although l am told that Police recently caught a gang in the North West area and recovered a haul of Land Rovers.

Who are you cross with? When mine was stolen I was standing next to it within 25 mins due to it having a tracker. Lots of owners think nothing of throwing loads of money at their 'pride and joy' and will spend more on having of bunch of Iranians wash it every week than a tracker costs a month.

Yes l fully agree with you, it's rare to see a Defender with any visible security either

What makes me cross is the thieves shipping out hundreds of these very distinctive vehicles without (it seems) any real trouble at all.

How much would it cost to open every container before loading it on to a ship. Or even a requirement for every container to have a couple of inspection holes that you can put a camera in to.

Instead of that the thieves are snowing Land Rovers, motorcycles, high end cars and construction machinery into these anonymous steel boxes and shipping them out of the EU.

They must be hawing with laughter as they count their money.
