White 110 with roof rack stolen from Bashley, Hampshire on 21st Jan during the night. The thieving scum broke locks off of barn doors and had a rummage around but did kindly shut the main gate to the property on their way out. The property had security lighting but this obviously didn't deter them. I will post the reg number as soon as I get it (friends defender)

Number plate M479 DUF
It's a 12 seater 110 without the spare wheel on back with 92k and rust in the door panels. Former Police vehicle, you can see where the decal was over the rear door.
The strange thing is two weeks ago Rob and I were driving to Sainsbury's in xchurch and this fellow defender, all jacked up and kitted out for off roading, cb antenae etc was seriously staring at us. He actually stopped his vehicle to look at our 110. Could be nothing but he gave me the creeps and with all the after-market kit on his 90 I would say he is more than capable of taking apart the 110 and either using it or selling it.

Probably - I doubt a fellow defender owner would be stalking other defenders to pilfer. Well I would hope anyway

dont be so sure the pikeys are well disguised and they ARE on this forum,i have seen pikey talk of horses on post here .talk that only pikes use about horses too...
not that im saying pikeys steal landys ofcourse
