i have a 52 reg range rover vogue deisel, today the volume went down on the stereo, it is the factory sat nav system,someone said try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes to reset it,tryed that but did not work,all the screen works fine and tv etc etc,but just no sound,has anyone got any idea's what it could be ??. any help would be grateful.

Probably the amplifier has gone down. It lives in the boot on the nearside.

If you have power,earth etc to the amp then i'd suspect a faulty amp

Having the same problem let me know what you find. I am taking it in for service tom...2004 HSE
PS disconnecting the battery does not work....

UPDATE*Had to replace the power amp. Covered under warrenty so no big deal. Hope this helps...
