Got a steering wobble at 55-60mph. Mostly felt through the steering but sometimes through the seat.

It's not the UJs or props. The TREs were very worn and I've replaced but made no difference. The wheels are balanced. I've changed the panhard rod bushes just in case but these weren't very worn. It's had a recon steering box as the old one was leaking. Non of this has made any difference.

Any other suggestions? I really can't get to the bottom of it
 
Slightly wiggle the steering. This will show some movement (get some to wiggle why you watch :eek:)

then also check A frame knuckle

How do you mean wiggle the steering?

Oh wait i see, wiggle and watch underneath.

Small left & right movements. Just so it takes up the slack.

you will see the body twitch. Then look at at TRE to see if they are lifting
You will see any play in the panard bush as well.

for the A frame knuckle. Leave handbrake on & roll/push the motor using the slack and see and upwards movement

Good shout. I did check a while back but that was in the ****ing rain on Shetland so might be worth another go. Whats the best way to check again, play up and down at 12 and 6'o clock with the wheel off?

Wheel up and check for play at 12 and 6, also at 9 and 3, at both positions it tends to be wheel bearing, at just 12 and 6 it should show swivel (providing 9/3 shows no movement!).
Only takes the tiniest movement to cause that wobble. Good luck, took me ages to find mine - tyre balance in the end, got it fixed on the second attempt as the first garage couldn’t balance properly at all!
I’ve still the smallest wobble when I hit a pothole at speed, I believe this to come from very slight play in a steering uj.
 
I watched a YouTube video of someone curing the death wobble by simply swapping the wheels over, putting front wheels on the back and back on the front.

Not sure from your question above if you are checking the swivel preload correctly.
Has to be done with wheel off and steering rods disconnected. You tube is your friend.

The bolt has to grip the lugs nice and tight, to eliminate a little bit of movement of the bolt in the holes. Otherwise that little bit of movement can give a bit of wobble.
