How do you get the chuffing thing off?

Removed cover, retaining nut & shakewasher, and taken off the column housing, do I just need to get a puller on the shaft?

Been down to the helpful guys at Clowne 4x4 centre today! They helped me get it lined up, but boy, was it a bitch getting it off.

Wheelpuller was on, somebody else was pulling and someone else had a chisel and a hammer going behind it. Got it off though.

Gonna have to visit them more often. Helpful bunch with a load of knowledge. Heehee, there's your little bit of advertisement guys :p

this help ya?

Put the nut back on a couple of turns to stop you needing to eat through a straw.

Get mad with it. Repeatedly pull the steering wheel while smacking it with your knees.

As Ratty said Losen it off but don't take the nut right off, but give it room to move. Stand on the brake pedal and pull like ****..

Is that the same as yours then trewy? My dad brought it for his MG Midget, but the boss was too long, so he brought a nicer wheel with a shorter boss (why he didn't get a smaller boss is beyond me) so I'm gonna mek him an offer for this one after I've sorted out my tyres.

Hi
Bought the same steering wheel today. has your boss cot the cancelling lugs on the back for the indicators??
