Good evening im new to the forum and the land rover community. I have a disco td5 2000 w reg and have a lot of play in the steering but only to the left, to the right is nice and tight.If anybody could shed some light on this i would be very grateful.

Hi, it would be good to inspect the steering linkage under the car... concentrate on the track rod and drag link ball joints .....there must be the play.

my 300 tdi had a similar problem.
it was one of the track rod ends.
had it done at the mot and cost next to nowt.
