Hi folks, I am doing the drop arm ball joint and thought I'd replace the damper while im at it. Can anyone recommend a specific damper and supplier?

I went for a bog standard £25 one off paddocks and it does the job absolutely fine!

I jus got a bog standard one from my local iny parts supplier for 17 quid and its absolute fine and made a big difference as the one that was on there was fooked.
Bein a standard part it wasnt painted in LOOK AT ME yella either which was good

I've tried knackered rusty damper, new oe damper and no damper at all and couldn't tell the difference tbh.

I fitted a ****part supergaz (only cos they wuz on special offer for £2 more than a standard one) and I hate to say it but it is the dogs danglies. I noticed the difference immediately. I did need to do a bit of grinding to get it to fit though.
