I haven been on hear for some time been working away for a few years. Finally dragged my old series out of the shipping container it's been in for about 5 years.

Started to get her ready for the road again starting with the welding, got the new footwell in the drivers side all welded in.

Wile the steering column is out I would like to change the top bearing as it has some play in it. Dose anybody know if and ware to get either genuine LR ones or OE quality. I usually wouldn't be too concerned but it is a very small bearing that is subject to a lot of abuse.

All the bearing I've seen on ebay and the likes are unbranded.

If you take your old one to Bearing Services they should be able to match it with a Timken.

Just popped the bearing out and mic'd it up and it's a very unusual size it's 0.872 ID, 1.1719 OD, so the chances of matching it up at a bearing supplier is slim.

Ile give the suppliers in the links a call tomorrow as they are both out of stock.

Google the part number - loads of suppliers.

Is there anything else I should consider doing to the steering box/column wile I have it on the bench?
