I have bid on and won a steering box for my defender 90, it was advertised for a td5 and I asked the question if it would fit mine and gave the person the year etc, they said it will, but since then I have been reading that there are 3 bolt and 4 bolt fittings, so now not sure if it will fit or not?

Mines a 90 on an 85 plate dont know what year the td5 was

id have thought yours was 6 or 4 bolt ,count the bolts holding top cap on pas box

ok cheers james, gonna go get it anyway as it was a bargain, if it doesn't fit will sell it on, i will now go and look on the web as to where the box is unless its where i think it is underneath the ps reservoir bottle somewhere? only had a quick look today and my haines manual is lurking in the back on the landy somewhere lol
