I've not been happy with my steering (300 tdi) as it seems to slightly jerk a bit from side to side at times. Now ive just had the tracking done, and all the play taken out via steering box by Landy specialist, which has made it 95 per cent better. But, it still has a slight wander.
Now my 2 front tyres are goodyears, which are crap on Discos my Landy guy says, and they are also on the absolute limit legally. They are getting changed this week, but will the naff front tyres effect it THAT much?
I was also told that they will due to it being perm 4 wheel drive, so the tyres are far more crucial than a normal car.
Any ideas or back up what ive been told???
