When I purchased my 90 the previous owner had put two layers of carpet underlay between the roof lining and the roof which has bent and bowed the lining due to the weight. I have now removed the underlay and I just wanted to know if the should be anything between the lining and the roof originally or can I just glue the lining straight to the roof ?

There was some very light weight foil backed polystyrene stuck to my roof under the head lining. Seemed original.

Hope that helps!
