I have a 2003 td4. Starting is a pain, more so when warm. Have already changed the cam sensor, makes no difference at all. I have done the leak test, and 2 injectors seemed to be leaking, although i am not confident enough to splash out the 300 plus for 2 new injectors without a 2nd opinion... Does anyone know of a decent landy specialist near J31 M1??

If they're leaking from the top with the ignition turned on that's the problem. :(

Have to ask how long before the injectors were leaking back, If it takes more than about 8 seconds before you see fuel then they are ok, if it is allmost stright away then yes thats your problem.

hi, its almost immediate, though there's not a massive amount of fuel leakage, 2 are definately worse than the other 2. How much leakage is bad? Also the glow plug light does not illuminate any more, hot or cold...not even when first turning the key..the starting problems though are far worse when hot, so i am presuming the glow plugs arent to blame...is there another sensor that measures temp??

"2 are definitely worse than the other 2."

So are all four are leaking ?

Any leakage is a sign the top seals are on their way out. The fuel pump might keep up with with one slight leak but the aggregate effect of several leaking means not enough fuel pressure during cranking for efficient injection.
