Ive searched over some of the other threads but I can not seem to find the right one.

I have a 1998 freelander 1.8 xei that has generated a starter motor problem, diag'd by the RAC man.

I have seen threads for the TD4 or TD5 starter fix but is there one for this freelander?

most starters work the same way so there aren't much electrical diferences between them, should be able to take some good pointers from those links and fix it.
