Hi all been a very long time since I came on here, sorry for that. Well I decided to take the series 3 off the road last year and begin some refurbishment; for those who remember me I'm a little challenged physically due to illness and so most things take me an age but patience and a bit at a time will see me through one way or another; cant say the same for ability lol lots of first for me but I enjoying learning and love working on landy's as much as I do drive them.
Ive started with the footwells and decided to jump straight in with the dirvers side; today I finally managed to finish removing the old and now looking round and making good ready for fitting a new one. The stay the goes from the chassis to the outrigger is ok but probably would benefit from replacing: Does anyone know if there's a risk of twist if I remove and replace or is it a fairly innate object; I can tac a brace if the risk of twist is real

There shouldn't be any significant load in that brace. If there had been it looks like it would have snapped or buckled by now!
