It can't be as manky as that one on ebay?
Haha, no it isn't, just got some wear at the top edge.

I think I am going to get an XS leather standard one, the size of the current one doesn't bother me and I am still thinking to sell it.

You need to do a trip across Morocco, then you wont want to sell it.

Fit the Momo with a slim boss by either Optimil or Bolton Bits. Makes it considerably easier to drive, get it and get out of. With the standard wheel fitted I fill like im driving a lorry and find the overall experience unpleasant, but thats just me!

The standard steering wheel isn't too bad. I'd been looking at all the online discussion about small steering wheels and was wondering whether to fit one, but I've never found the standard one to be a problem. Plus if I were to buy a smaller wheel I'd need to buy a smaller Disclock too. So that's a lot of money for not very much of an improvement.

Exactly the same thing happened to me! I got lucky someone on here wanted to swap so didnt cost a thing which was good.

I have installed a Momo 14" on my previous landy, it had a new steering damper too and was OK. The steering was not sensitive and still effortless. Being 6 ft tall it was more comfortable.

I have bought this one for the landy in my avatar, but might not use it.
I was going to make a reverse spacer for it to lower it closer to the cluster

Always look at build quality, safety first especially with Ebay or used stuff.

I prefer a bit smaller due to my height. Temporary bolts were used as a mock up for lowering it, I was going to machine a Teflon spacer afterwards to fill the gap.

Thats the main reason I swapped the std wheel out for a sports one. When I fitted my bucket seats the standard wheel was rubbing on my legs and made it a pain the ass to get in and out

Yes with the bucket sport seats having side supports you will have clearance issues, but with standard defender seats or seats with no lateral supports it will be OK.

I was looking at the possibility of fitting a jaguar steering wheel on mine, if you look at this jaguar sport wheel (this one is white but black is available) http://blackcountryjag.weebly.com/s...O_STEERING_WHEEL_JAGUAR_SPORT_SPC1124AEE.html
It was made by MOMO for jaguar and requires a boss which will make it interchangeable to Land Rover with the appropriate boss.
It is not a flashy sports style (although it has sport embossed on it) Ii just looks like a quality wheel.
What do others think?

I like the big bus wheel, personally. To me it goes with driving an old Landy. Makes the steering a bit more accurate I feel. I borrowed a car with a normal-sized wheel and hated the thing, despite having owned a fiesta previously.
