Hi All
In my 2004 D2 Landmark it has the Highline headunit (I believe) though no CD Changer, has tweeters in the door pillars and usual speakers plus sub. However the sound quality is very poor, not crackly or with any interference, just sounds like a cheap portable radio. Given LR went to the effort of separate tweeters and sub I cant imagine it came out the factory sounding so poor.

So question, I am not an electrical engineer, but what simple checks might I be able to do to see whether there is an issue rather than starting to buy new unit and speakers?

Thanks for suggestions.
Simon

I'd start with sticking your head next to the speakers to make sure they are all working. Maybe change balance and fade to each corner in turn.

This was one of my speakers in my L322

Thanks, I'll see if any one speaker is letting the team down or if all equally as bad it might point to the source or amp (presuming it has one)
That L322 speaker isnt at its finest!
