Hi, Im looking for some stainless steel bolts for the rear crossmember, its the 10 bolts that go along the back just above the rear crossmember, spaced out in pairs......whats the correct name for them just so I order the right ones?

cheers

Google Thomas Smith Fasteners. They are in Blantyre. Your in South Lanarkshire so you can't be far away. Get one off, take it with you and get them there. Dawdle.

Ita going to be M8 size, times whatever length they are i would guess 25 to 30mm.

hrmphh. I bought these last week to go with my new cross-member:

Land Rover 90 110 A2 Stainless Rear Crossmember Bolts on eBay (end time 07-Mar-11 20:33:02 GMT)

Bought them as they were specifically for the body fittings running along the top.

This site looks to be run by the seller (randomly found by searching for info on A2 stainless steel).

Stainless Steel BASIC Information

It looks to me like you wouldn't be using these bolts on suspension mounts in a million years, but the body mounts on the cross-member are surely not going to be taking huge amounts of lateral strain?

Stick whatever length ye want in as long as it fits through the holes. Have done that wi' mine (crap photie)...

And as said above.. they're ok there, but don't be usin' them fur major stuff that's under stress or owt;)

go to toolstation or screwfix there only a couple of quid and they do the nuts and washers as well. Toolstation does free delivery i think you only have to spend about a £5

Try the "landyscrews" shop on Ebay.
Wayne is this guys name and he has lists of bolts, nuts and screws especially packed for landys.
I've used him a few times before and he's been more than helpful.
