My SRS warning light is on all the time. It seems to come on when I adjust the electric seats. My mate a has diagnostic tool that showed it had something to do with the seat belt sensors?

Is this something for the dealership or is it possible DIY job?

Cheers for any help

That's handy having the diagnostics, now tell us what that something is with the sensors and then we can say diy or dealer :)

mine does this every time the seat is adjusted. to fix it, i turn off the ignition, put my hand under the seat and wiggle all the wires i can find. turn the ignition back on and light goes out

With the ignition turned off, look under the front seats for the yellow conduit leading to the seat belt pretentioners.Find the multiplug on them then disconnect and reconnect them 1/2 a dozen times. Then switch the ignition on and see if the SRS self tests ok and the light goes out.Poor contact in these multiplugs is a very common fault.
