hi everyone just changed seats in my freelander 1 for some leather ones from a newer model, and this has brought on my SRS light, so I thought they must have faulty sensors, was going to order some more, but noticed the part number was different to original sensor numbers from old seats, these have gone to tip so cant try them but does anyone think the cars computer is not recognising the newer ones and I will have to get some sensors to match my old seats???????????????????/ merry Christmas

Try isolating the battery for 10 mins or so - see if it resets when you power up again..:)

Once you disconnected the electrics it brings on the srs light. Only way to put light off is with landrover diagnostic kit. About £35 at an independent.
