Hi All, Had my 2001 1.8 a few weeks now and very happy with it. Had an annual service a week ago and everything looked fine. Have noticed the past few days that the front suspension has got quite squeky/creaky when going over speed bumps etc. Seems fine on normal road and control feels lovely.

Is this anything to worry about or should I get it to the garage to see whats going on or do freelanders squek and need a lovely squirt of WD40 now and again.

Cheers

I have noticed a similar thing on mine - only happens when i reverse onto my drive (which is like an apex ^ from road to pavement and then sloping back down to drive)

I have ordered a polybush kit and will see if this solves the problem.

Regards,

Steve

could be the snubber bushes, very easy repair by regreaseing them,or if its like mine we think it`s coming from the top of the suspension strut under the coolent bottle, but that will have to wait
