I want to replace the springs and shocks on my Series 3, but can't decide what to go for. It's mainly used for greenlaning, and I'd like to have a go at an RTV next year.
Would parabolics and extended shocks, such as procomps be best. Or would normal springs and shocks be good enough?

I looked at a few options, either "british springs" direct from the factory or the rocky mountain options, i put british springs on, i think the rocky are a little softer, think i would choose them 2nd time round but the British are ok and either is better than the original

Got to aggree with Mr Dripper. I too have been there and had the refund on the Britpart paras. Never before have I seen such a bag of w*nk! Now got Rockys :D . You will get a ride close to a coil sprung landy with paras fitted rather that the standard "oooow owwwww oooooooow! have I got any suspension on this thing?" Its nice to keep em standard but Its also nice to have teeth in your head after green laning. Makes It a more enjoyable beast to drive but im sure that theres people on here that swear by leafers rather than swear at em. Its all down to personal preference.... I choose to keep my teeth:)

hi
i have had good results using std hd springgs on the front and green or blue parabolics (ex paddocks) on the rear. better ride , but corners flatter on the road. yes and every time i do it they say you should not mix the two types.
works for me and they sit well on the road.
