hi all
My 300tdi 110 1994 has such stiff suspension it's bouncing me all over when i go over speed bumps or any bumpy roads at all ,I intend changing the springs to softer ones but my question is how do I know what type of springs are on her now, they're well rusted ,is there a measurement I take ect?

Hi,thanks for your reply rougharse,
The springs that are on are badly rusted up so can't see anything on them.
i will just have to go buy a set of soft springs and try them.

That's because they have a self leveling unit, they may be too soft without one. The Land Rover on my profile pic had all Range Rover classic suspension including self leveling unit. The self leveling unit wore out on mine and I just removed it and kept the Range Rover springs, the result wasn't the best as the rear was too bouncy on uneven roads.
