I have been trying to get the rear springs off, but on the bolts rear hangers will not undo. I ended up cutting the bottom bolt off on one side but cant now get the the remains of the blot out of the hangers. So I thought OK just undo the top bolt and take each side of the hanger off and sort it out on the bench.
However I cant get the top bolt too shift I have got the nut off but no matter how hard I hit it the bolt is not moving it is if the hanger itself is threaded and of course the rubber bush is taking up much of the hammers force.
If I cut the top bolt off I am going to be left with the middle section stuck in the top bush. Has anyone got any ideas how to get the bolt out of the bush so the hangers can be put on the new springs.
Is it as bad as it looks to replace the top bushes ?.

yup, they are, i coated mine n wd40 overnight and then put the air hammer on em, it took time but it worked. if you aint got an air hammer put a breaker bar on it, and then put a scaffold pole on the breaker bar

I'm sure there was a good reason to thread the hangers but it makes it difficult to get the buggers out when the bolt seizes in the bush.

Are the top bushes hard to replace, would it be easier to cut them out and then use new a mew bolt and bush ?.
