Hello, I have a little Freelander and I used to have my spotlights mounted further back on my roof and had no issues. I have recently got a roof rack and now the spotties are mounted on front of it. It wasn't until I turned them on in the dark when I realized they light up my whole dash and I can't actually see... Any suggestions on how to fix this? They are facing as high up as they can go.

Hope someone can suggest something!

Are they actually spots or are they fogs?

A thought, turn them upside down and fit to top bar. If the same then get out the cardboard and duck tape make a deflector/shield to go on the bottom rail and test it. Before making a nice piece:)
Or maybe extend them further forward.
Cheap trial and error, is the way to go:)

Move them further back or fit a shade on the underside so that it takes the glare off the bonnet and dash.

I have a 42" LED lightbar on the bonnet of my Discovery, gives off a tremendous amount of light.
