I have 4 x 8" spot lights, is 4 too much for the front of a disco, or should I only fit 2 of them.

Only u can decide on the look after fitting four lamps, plus u may wish to consider the restriction of air to cool the radiator and AC receiver/drier if u have it.
Question is why 4?

In my opinion, 2 lights on the front is just right.

Discool, I like those headlight guards! Been looking for them on eBay. I have taken a fair bit of inspiration from your car when I've seen your avatar in certain posts on here (hence my a-bar!)

Can't have enough lights in my view

But agree that 2 on the bull bar/front is enough, then attach a light bar......(these are the only pics I can find, sorry!)

Plus you can also add them on the rear for additional reversing lights/work lights

Still standard as it left the LR dealer in 1997 other than LED bits and bobs where I can fit them, DRL being the newest addition at the front under the bumper

Even the bit around the lake was shallow - even though I tried to get to the deapest part next to the wooden stakes.....

Could of easily done it all without a snorkel it was that low.....

And to be fair, the mud run wasn't as deep as usual as not so many needing to be towed out.

Ok I'll stick to just two then, plus the roof lights at a latter date.

I fitted just two spot lights this afternoon, I'll get them wired up over the weekend hopefully.
