Hello.

Just made a light bar and fitted some spots yesturday afternoon.

Im planning on running them through 2 30amp relays (4 from each one.)

Just wondering if any discovery vets would know off hand a switching feed from the ignition? spair Fuse number or color wire?

Basicly i have 2 3way rocker switches (on/off/on)
Up for ON with ignition (instead of a permant live that will get left on and flatten my battery)
Middle off
Down On with full beam for flashing.

Either that or im going to have to buy a bulk bag of tea lights?

wont you get a lot of glare from the white bonnet with that lot on?

He has the same spots as me......and they are ****E.

They have a gap in the bottom and it does a really good job of lighting up my dash and not a lot else.

I'll be taking mine off at some point.

dont take that lot from ignition switch find thick brown wire which are battery live and run a wire from ignition switch to relay to cut live to light relays when ignition off

ive got these lights aswell but not got round to wiring them yet..keep us posted as to what the are like...

i dont understand that?
all i want is a switch feed to switch my relays on. Relays will be fed direct from my battery.

that's the switch I had on mine..

always on/ always off/ on with main beam

I took the main beam feed from the back of the fuse box on the main beam fuse
the main live I took it directly from the battery with a 30A fuse in line

Ok I may be wrong as I have never bovered to check, but I understand from info received that this terminal or the one below is live only when the ign is switched on.
Perhaps u will let me know and if not it's plan B :)

Easy to over come, just put some silicon sealer along the bottom, this the also acts as a hinge when you replace the bulb, I have also blacke the bottom 1/3 out and this has stoped most of the glare on the bonnet.

One thing I wish I had done ( I have only 4) was cable them up so the outside two light up or the inside two light up.

I've cabled mine up for left 2, or right 2!!!
I'll have a go with the silicone though, and the black tape.
Good tip!!!
