Why do you think it's problem with the valves?Hi all I have no compression on cyl 2. Does anyone know a mechanic near me in East Yorkshire who could remove head and fit new valves for me?
Any help much appreciated. Thanks
So perhaps it should be both heads and all valves or you may be doing the job again.Hi it has been running on lpg and it is known for this to happen. It's had new plugs and coil packs thren a compression test.
Cylinder 2 is zero. Thanks
I have used an endoscope on all bores and compression tested them and all good apart from cyl 2.So perhaps it should be both heads and all valves or you may be doing the job again.
As above, waste of time IMO doing just one pair of valves. If one has failed, how long before another goes and maybe does some serious damage? What condition is the seat in? would be my first question on removing the head, quickly followed by 'what about the others?'
Obviously Cyl 2 was all good, right up ro the point it wasn't. How confident are you that it just needs attention on one cylinder on one head?
I'm not looking for a debate, just pointing out that this may be an exercise you have to repeat...
