having recently fitted a new battery i noticed that every time i tightened the battery stay sparks start flying. I noticed the battery stay had worn through so that the metal was touching the +ve terminal and it was earthing out. elecrical tape wont last forever. Is this a common fault and can u still get replacements ? Any ideas folks ?
