Hi

Hope someone can help, i have 22 Inch Alloy wheels on my Freelander which i have recently brought the question is the spare in the back is 17 inch wheel ?

What are my options if i get a puncture / Flat ? i presume i cant put the 17inch on just to get me to a garage ? as its quite a bit smaller ?

any help or advice would be apprecaited. Thx

You can use a 17" spare, but be aware that speed needs to be kept to a the maximum listed on the wheel, and it's only designed for getting you to the garage, to have the damaged tyre repaired or replaced.
Driving with the 17" spare is damaging to the AWD system, so it needs to be done for as short a time as possible.

You'll have no choice, unless you can find an identical 22" wheel as a replacement, but as LR didn't sell the FL2 with that size, finding an identical replacement could be difficult. Oh and don't forget to tell your insurance it has aftermarket, non LR wheels fitted.

It's sensible to make sure the Haldex and other drive train components are serviced, as they don't last as long as the service interval listed by LR.
