Hi guys, I am a South African Landy-fan.
In my previous job I was an off-road journalist, and now I am a freelancer and also organise a series of 4x4 events locally.
I drive a 1998 Land Rover Discovery V8 that is VERY HEAVY on gas. (I know they are supposed to be, but this is even more than that).
That is the main reason why I joined your site. Some local sites in SA don't seem to have the right knowledge to help me when I have some technical questions. So I was hoping if I go to the source (so to speak) you guys over in the UK will be able to help me a bit better.
Anyway, that is me, and I hope to learn a lot from you guys. And when you ever come to SA, I will be glad to have a pint or two with you as you plan an off-road adventure here...
