hello all

first of all best wishes and a lot of miles for all of you and your freelander.

I was just wondering. When I start my FL1, I hear a sound comming from the brake pedals... Like the ABS or TC kicking in...

Does anybody know what this is and if this is normal?

all the rest works OK ( ABS light goes off etc..)

thanks
Chris

Can't it be the sound of the FBH coming into the cabin via the pedals ?? This is a continental car with the driver sitting at the left hand side (same side as the burner is located and with the temperatures around overhere these last days ......???)
Can Dutchman have a look and check whether he has the small exhaust pipe (see pic) in front of the left front wheel ?? If yes, next time he hears that noise he might get out of the car and feel/see whether any fumes or heat comes out???
Succes.
