I was lucky enough to buy my first landy at 16, and 3 years on I'm hoping this summer I'll finally be able to finish it.
It is a B reg 90 with a 2 and a quarter petrol running LPG as well. It was very tired and had been sat for some time, I originally wanted to break it for fast cash, however I managed to get a galvanised chassis of eBay and decided I should give it life again! After many cuts, bruises, arguments, snapped spanners(?), and horrific language plus a little help from my dad and other family it is now in many pieces is the shed; ready to be put together.
The mods I've planned are to fit it with a 300tdi which I got off eBay locally for a good price, disco axels, 2inch lift and hope fully a decent lick of paint.

Undecided on colour, I am open to suggestions?
Any recommendations for things I should be doing to it?

Welcome. First thing to learn is buy quality spanners and sockets ;)

Keep a good photo archive of what you are doing as when you come to re-register it it may help to prove its identity if vosa/dvla start asking questions, especially as you are changing from a petrol to a diesel.

Keep at it, there are times when you wondered why you ever started, and if it will ever end, but it will be worth it in the end.

Welcome to the forum, we don't bite too much

Thanks guys! I have quite a few photos as I've been going along.
With regards to registering it once it is complete. Will this cost? Haven't really considered it till now :S
