Hi

I know it's a horrible question to ask but know. Good evening there is a farm sale near me in the next 3 weeks. I've seen the catalogue today and there is a defender up for auction but I'm struggling to find a price for it and was wondering what you guys thought. It's a 2014 defender 90 with 20k on the clock it's blue and got steel wheels I guess an odd dint and scratch being on a farm. What's a good price to bid

Cheers steve

Have a look on ebay but for competed and sold listings as this will show how much they actually went for not what someone is hoping to get

worth checking if VAT is included in the hammer price of the vehicle, or you might have to pay this on top.

It's all about condition. If it's had five years of farm use and not looked after it could be worth half what a mint one would fetch.
I assume it's a hard top or truck cab? What's the interior like, is it clean or does it resemble a bird's nest?
How many dents. Is the crossmember rusted/scabby....although there shouldn't be any actual corrosion at that age? (Doesn't take much to keep it looking good, it would show that a bit of care has been taken)

I would say typical farm land rovervan back. Been looking on ebay but not many basic models around like that. It's will have the odd mark. Inside will be used I've not seen it. Just after a price so I know when to stop I don't know if I'll. Keep it or sell on as I've got 2 running projects.

Steve
