Hi everyone, as the title says, soon to be a MY2000 Freelander hardback owner. I say soon to be as I used to live in UK, but now in Malta due to work and I am going to drive a Freelander over from UK.

This will be my first Land Rover, I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee previously. If the Freelander is as trouble free as the Jeep, then I will be one happy man. I have been told all sorts of horror stories about them being unreliable and always damaging cylinder heads. I will find out when I drive it accross the continents to Malta.

Hope to gather some knowledge about them in the future from all you Lads n Lasses on here.

Not knowing much about them, it's the 3 door 1.8i Hardback version with roof bars and all the trimmings inside A/C, Leather, nice Chrome wheel cover and side steps and the nicest alloys I seen on a Freelander. Dont know if they are a standard Landie part or aftermarket ones. Will put some pics up in a week or two when I get it.
