I've been spending me spare hours tidying up the workshop and shed at me ma's hoose over the last few weeks, its a big shed and full of random ****e! (anyone want an unidentified russian motorbike frame and engine?)

so today while i was up on the roof of the workshop i came accross a Series landy front panel i never knew was there! whats even better is i've been lookin for a new one for ages as the one on me current project landy is wrecked (i was going to patch it but the whole bottom section is hanging off leaving nowt to stick a patch to....)

this one looks to be a Series 3 one but it has a metal grill like a Series 2, i'm guessing it was off a 2A at one point, its got some surface rust but nothing serious! chuffed now like!!

seriously? you can have it if you want, its a flat twin with shaft drive, the exhausts are really weird and come up over the cylinders and it has a belt driven alternator and a little radiator on the front. there is the frame, engine, gearbox & carb.
 
sounds like a cossack - based on ww2 bmw design. a lot of them were fitted with sidecars.
 
aye, me dad used to run about on a Denpr with side car, used to pull a trailer with it as well! he had 3 running Denpr's, i still have one spare denpr engine lying around.

i haven't managed to identify the engine and frame i mentioned in the first post, its not the same as the Denpr's and doesnt look like a ural. me ma is positive its a russian bike but i remember way back when i were a lad me dad told me it was a fiat car engine that was squeezed into the frame (me dad used to make honda 50 choppers and other weird **** like that so its not too bizarre!)

i do have a 2 seater side car, not the whole thing, just the cabin bit that bolts one the side car frame. like a big bean shaped thing with windows and a roof. the boss would probably want a bit o cash for it like.

I just need a shock to help get it up on 2 wheels so I can do some measuring and offering up of other bitz.

p.s. and an old 17" front wheel would be good too!

p.p.s. the project is a bit unusual and I am trying to beat someone at a bet, so any help with temp parts or even donor parts would be good.
