hi all,
new on the site & new to landrover:lol:
really enjoying at the minute, just a few little problems.my heater was working on full speed but now has stopped working?
also I need front discs & pads & been looking on ebay but seems to be
a few different fitting kits? myn is a 1995 300tdi,with solid discs.
just don't want to order wrong ones.
& also any other info or regular maintenance would be appreciated as im a landy virgin:lol:

I would expect you need:

Discs: FRC7329
Pads: SFP000260

If you don't know when they were done you should keep a close eye on your lubricants.

Axles, swivels, gearboxes, grease the propshafts etc etc.

Ideally EP90 GL4 not 5 for the transfer box (back one) as the GL5 can erode phosphor bronze bearings in it.

MTF94 for the main gearbox.

thank you appreciate it will have a look for discs & pads,& think I will change all the fluids
& swivel grease.

any idea about my heater? really need to get it working ha.
thanks again lee

The heater control lever on my 300 TDi is a bit tempremental and needs a bit of a fore and aft and up and down wiggle to get it to work - give it a go.

ha ha will do ive took the screws out of the clocks & the 2 screws where they screw into the heater control,& looked all the wires were on the back of the switch,& also checked fuse in fuse box but carnt seem to get it to work?
I was wondering if it might be the actual control?
thanks for info will try lee

If fuse is ok might be the control arm. The contacts can become worn and loose over time. Take the instrument panel off and check the contact rail that the arm moves up and down on, you may be able to squeeze it together to create better contacts, it worked on mine for a while. Currently I've got some folded cardboard behind the control arm cos I can't be bothered to take the panel off again!

okay, thanks I will try & do that ive just had a look & tried wiggling the control but still not working.
it was & then just stoped ha I will carry on trying failing that might have to try a new control see what happens thanks for info
