This time a classic..
Been looking for a few years now, not had a classic in maybe 10-12 years and genuinely miss owning and driving as a daily..
I didn't want another project as in a full resto but accepted unless I paid big bucks it was going to need work, looked at a few before this one and every single one of them needed EVERYTHING, or had many patches on patches on patches....
This one has it's problems for sure but somewhere in it's history it's had money thrown at it, which is nice. Needs inner wings and drivers floor, small hole just above exhaust on the rear cross member and also some scabbing on the crossmember just by the fuel tank which will need sorting. The engine was running on 6 cylinders at best when I collected it, in fact, it was so rough it wouldn't drive it's self on to the trailer in low!! Quick fiddle under the bonnet and she's purring like a kitten with a sore throughout..... she'll need a service :). The last owner had just fitted new shocks and springs, the new inner wings and floor was part of the sale plus there's a full service kit and full pack of replacement mounts..
Not done inner wings before so expect questions in the coming months :):);)

From there, choose the picture you want and OK it. Picture should be sent to your post. Then you have the option of thumbnail or full image
This is the way I do it on my phone, computer might be different though

Well it looks like you won’t need to try hard for that to come apart:).
Good luck with putting it back together:).

watching:).

Hello peoples, had an hour or so to spend on the RRC today in-between fiddling with the L322 door lock etc, finally managed to get it in the workshop, wanted to post some pictures but it keeps saying I don't have permission???

That's still a problem? It's been like that for a while now. Something technical to do with moving servers or something.

However, copy and paste works OK so just paste your pictures into your posts.

Ahh i see I couldnt see the bonnet hinges that's all, but I'm guessing you've removed them! Are you planning on doing both of them up? =)
Yes Dave, the silver one is in the workshop at the moment, it doesn't need a huge amount of work, having said that, I have mumbled to myself on a number of occasions the very sentence that every LR owner has said at one time or another... "It's a bit worse than I thought"!..... I've got some pics of progress to upload but having trouble getting them from my phone to my laptop at the mo. The second one is a fairly solid example too but just ugly!! She's going to need a bit more them the silver one but she will have to wait until after the CF van project... which is after the silver RR.... Why do we do it?....
