Hello fellow land rover owners

I am in urgent need of some snow chains that I require to travel to the alps with on Boxing Day. We are leaving at around 1pm.

I am willing to pay the full RRP if anyone has a set that will fit my 235/65/17

I am travelling from Grimsby on the east coast down to London on the morning of boxing day to london and then on to Dover.

Can any help me as I dont want leave it till I get to France and cant get my size etc.

Please message me if you are able to sell your chains or help me.

I can't help you with that size, but you should be able to buy them in France as you get nearer the alps. If you've a Landy you are ahead of the game already. Are you're current tyres M+S rated? ideally showing a Mountain or Snowflake symbol. If they are you most probably wont need the chains, however it is a legal requirement to carry them in alpine regions of France. If the roads are bad the Police will stop you and either tell you to put chains on or turn you back until the roads are clear enough. They tend not to stop 4x4s though, unless it's really bad.
Check the forecasts to see if it's really necessary.

At this late stage you're really screwed to get them anywhere here.
