I don't think it's possible to buy a proper raised air intake system off the shelf for a series Land-Rover. You can get the actual snorkle and pipework, but the pipework will not fit onto the oil bath air filter. There was a genuine Land-Rover oil bath air filter which was designed to work with a snorkle, but I think they are very rare. It is possible to convert a standard air filter, but good welding skills (very thin metal) and a lot of patience are needed.
does any body love timberland boots?? and where to buy it ? i know a good online store: Buy Timberland Boots Online|Discount Timberland Shoes Onsale, but i never buy anything from here. could you anybody buy the boots from here before??

Why are welding skills required?
I wonder if the airfilter/box from a 200tdi would solve the problem?

What would the best route to the back of the Landie be for a snorkle pipe?
Given that I have a pick-up it would make more sense to have the snorkle come out behind the cab - as it will get less dust thrown up in the summer, etc.
I would assume run down out of the engine bay, along by the gear box and up again? Or through the cab. Or maybe its just too much hassle and i wont bother!
