I like the looks of it, bit thin in places, but without relocating the BeCM, no point in adding such trickery to a P38. You can still only go as deep as the sills.

In the sandbox they are useful to keep sand out of the intake. Usually with the snorkel pointing rearwards or a mushroom topper though.
 
Maybe not so much with you all over in the UK, but for those of us who live in hotter climes were dust can be a problem...

For dust, a secondary intake filter would be more use than a snorkal, or is all your dust trained to stay low?

Wonderfull aint it? Banks screw customers for years with charges, PPI, interest rate swaps etc, they lie and cheat over LIBOR, share holders who notionally own the banks get sweet FA, banks make huge losses but the MAFIA that run them still have their noses deep in the trough. Now folks who have worked hard are going to be robbed on the direction of Herren Merkal.
The Ruskies may have corrupt cash in the Cypriot banks and may lose it, but that's not the point, it's the ordinary folk that are going to hurt. It's already being said that this is a template for future bank rescues, sounds like we should all go back to cash. NEVER TRUST A BANK!
I wonder if BBS will survive?

Can't see how it can be legal. But i suppose the powers that be can make anything they want legal to suit their purposes. Don't know, Colin must be a worried man right now i would think.

I'm getting an alarming sense of deja vue. In the 20's there was the great depression, we now have another dose of the same, Germany was about to re-arm, as they are doing now, The UK was downsizing the armed forces again as now, in place of Japan we have North Korea. I have the horrible feeling that it could all go tits up in the next decade.

Didn't the Germans decide a few years back to scrap Nation Service army only and have a professional army again? From "we don't want a professional army ever again as they'll get indoctrinated" to "we need a professional army because what we have now is drunken louts." I guess it is hard for Zee Mackerel to overthrow Europe with armed forces that'd rather get lashed.

It isn't legal, the EU is an unelected fascist federation, democratic process is utterly ignored, MEPs only exist to create a façade of democracy (they have no power whatsoever) and to keep politicians quiet by making them immensely rich. There was a clause included in the European Constitution, sorry, "Lisbon Treaty", where the EU can use any force required to restore order in member states. Yes, that's right, they have the "right" to shoot you dead if they feel you are creating disorder, "order" of course is not defined - it's exactly what they want it to mean, it'll soon be a crime to criticise the EU - doing so will probably be a breakdown of order - see where I'm going? At least the NAZIs were democratically elected. Voting for any of the big three parties means more EU and the end of the free citizen.

What in there is there not to agree with. We are being lead into the gas chambers, so to speak, but not many see it coming. They seem to want to control every aspect of daily life or at least that is what they are working towards.

As I said, Germany has tried twice by force of arms to dominate Europe, now they are trying the softly softly approach but are building their forces in case any member state objects. The iron fist in the velvet glove. It is heading towards the former Soviet Union political model.
