Hey chaps,

I've had the MOD mushroom style snorkel on my 90 for about two years now and while I can't fault it over all I do keep loosing the mushroom tops when out laning! Think im on my 4th now and they arnt exactly cheap.

Before I go any further I have an external cage which was half the reason I chose the above style as I could just strap it to the cage.

First idea was to cut away some of the upper tube and mount a safari style head though I wouldnt be able to turn it and having it face forward in heavy rain could fill it up/forced air intake.

Second idea would be to fit the Mantec

Though from what I've found not compatible with a cage also weary as its plastic though the head is attached so can't loose it! My current one has taken a lot and still intact.

So basically anyone got a solution?

why can you not attach a leash between mushroom head and the cage,

get it knocked off, it flaps around on end of the leash, stop and put it back on.

I did that for the past two. First was braided paracord, second was a cable. Lost it both times!

Why not just rivet the mushroom top on? It won't leak plus if waters up that high you're pretty ####ed anyway
