Continuing saga of project FL 1 TD4 facelift with Jatco auto. I bought the car a month a go with a 2/4 brake solenoid issue and F4 limp mode. Took solenoid out and fixed it myself, two weeks of fault free motoring and a few miles under it's belt to see what drops off before the car goes into full time service. Car had been sat for a couple of days, went to use it for a family outing and the dreaded F4 came up straight away! Oh poo! It was a very cold morning so a carried on hoping that the F4 would fix itself, which it did after ten minutes. I had bought some Jatco ATF for a service so moved that to the top of the list.... still have F4 until gearbox gets up to 35 degrees? Any ideas, diagnostics are showing 2/4 brake solenoid though I thought it might be a pressure fault?
