Hi thanks for the reply that helped.
After the series 2 I got a disco Y reg with 6K on the clock . The garage had it 3 months I had it 2 weeks . The head went at the time of the parts problems landrover had about 4 years ago and I got stuck in the middle.
Maybe Im unlucky with landrovers but my son and I love them and this series 3 is for him.
 
Sorry just finding my way around the site. Bought this diesel though Im used to playing with petrol, is diesel a better engine in landys
 
'78 would be the year not '88. nowt wrong with the 2.25 5 bearing engine (well not much really)
 
Thata a relief, it looks in good nick and I dont mind getting my hand in but a bit of fun is what is required. Anywhere good in the North East to off road. I went to Robin Hoods bay once and that was good until I lost a brake shoe.

you need a new keyboard as some of you letters are missing
 
hmm might try that thanks grunt...dont see any series LRs tho...nt t mention standard series LRs like mine will be :rolleyes: but oh well i may give it a whirl anyway when the time comes:D Cheers
